How to install elastic search 6.x.x in ubuntu 18.04
sudo apt update
sudo apt install apt-transport-https openjdk-8-jre-headless
wget -qO - https://artifacts.elastic.co/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch | sudo apt-key add -
1, Install JDK
sudo apt update
sudo apt install apt-transport-https openjdk-8-jre-headless
2, Install Elastic Search 6.x.x
wget -qO - https://artifacts.elastic.co/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb https://artifacts.elastic.co/packages/6.x/apt stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/elastic-6.x.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install elasticsearch
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start elasticsearch.service
curl -XGET 'localhost:9200/?pretty'
Example: Install analysis-phonetic and analysis-icu for magento 2, elasticsuite,...
sudo /usr/share/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch-plugin install analysis-phonetic
sudo /usr/share/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch-plugin install analysis-icu
sudo systemctl restart elasticsearch
curl -XGET 'localhost:9200/_cat/plugins'

systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start elasticsearch.service
4, Test Elastic Search service
curl -XGET 'localhost:9200/?pretty'
